Marrying a white man
I have two kinds of friends the "ONLY WHITE MEN" and "ONLY BLACK MEN" friends...
ONLY WHITE MEN their arguments:
ONLY BLACK MEN their arguments:
ONLY WHITE MEN their arguments:
- Your husband is going to respect you
- Your husband will not cheat on you
- Your husband will remain focused on his family
ONLY BLACK MEN their arguments:
- The relations are great
- The children are not confused about being white or black
- The husband's family will readily accept them
Well great arguments but I feel that any of these arguments can fall in either race. Look for a great guy in any race... That is my take on this issue...

Eye contact
Western society associates direct eye contact with being truthful. However many cultures in Uganda teach people to act shy and to look down when addressing other people. In fact in wedding ceremonies brides are often pressured to act extremely shy.
There is such a disconnect as people in the West expect the other person [girlfriend, wife, job application] to maintain eye contact. As a Ugandan, it is one area that I have to reach when speaking to others in the United States.
